The Critical Care and Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool is a
special nursing unit with the primary purpose of filling staffing needs when
health care providers are ill. Flexibility is essential as staff must maintain a
professional caring attitude in a variety of patient care environments. Monthly
staff/unit council meetings promote team building and flexible scheduling
increases employee satisfaction.
